I have had the desire to fish and be a part of the outdoors for as long as I can remember. I grew up in Fremont, CA. My fishing career started with me riding my bike to local lakes, ponds, and rock quarries with a fishing pole bungeed to the frame and a tackle box in my back pack. As I got older and was able to drive I began to explore the rivers, lakes, and streams in the California High Sierras. Backpacking into hidden places with a small spinning rod and fly rod improved my skills as an angler.
At the same time the California Delta began to creep onto my radar. Catfish and striped bass became my fish of choice. They were bigger and more powerful than anything I was catching in the Sierras. The Delta was a much closer too. Running around on the hundreds of miles of levy roads opened my eyes to the endless possibilities that the Delta had to offer.
All of the above happened prior to the age of 18. Needless to say the passion has never gone away. I knew that fishing was going to continue to be a part of my life and I knew that sharing my passion and knowledge with friends and family was something I enjoyed. So I decided to pursue my Captains (6-pack) License and California guide license. This now allows me to share my knowledge and experience with more people like you. I now live in Tracy, CA, 10 minutes from a launch ramp to the California Delta and love every minute of it.
I run a 2007 21’ Triton X2 with a power pole and the latest in Lowrance and Humminbird electronics. My boat, as well as myself as an individual, are completely United States Coast Guard certified. The safety of my passengers is of the highest priority to me. This, paired with the latest in fishing tackle and equipment, will make for a safe, fun trip for my clients. You will not find a more professionally catered trip anywhere.
